You've lurked long enough,
and you're wondering why none of the regulars ever returns your Shackmessages.
That's because you don't have an account, stupid! So get one, they're
free! But first, you would do well to familiarize yourself with:

1. The first rule of the guidelines is never to discuss the guidelines.

Registering your new account:
All the good account names are taken. This means you must use an existing account name and add brackets to either side, to differentiate yourself and avoid confusion. Examples: hawkeye and |Hawkeye|, andromeda and [Andromeda], Vantage and {Venger} are all different people.
No character accounts are allowed. The only exception to this rule is JOKEMON, and then only because no one is really quite sure he is a character.
If your account has been banned, any pathetic attempts at registering a similar-sounding account name ("klerk", "klirck", "clerck", "karen sympathy") will be detected and also banned.
To really stand out from the crowd, mash your keyboard to come up with a nonsense name, such as awoihjaweohr or Dg3Nr8.
Most Shackers, at least
according to the desktop screenshots they frequently post, tend to choose
passwords consisting of six asterisks. You should probably do this too.
